About This Video
On the evening of 2008-02-28 this is what my camera showed me. And I share it with you now.

This is about 500 still images...taken with my Canon 40D, and my 10mm-20mm lens set at f/3.5 (mostly) some of the exposures where as long as 15 seconds.

This series of 771 STILL images forms an interesting time-lapse based on events that occurred the morning of 2008-02-24 as seen through my camera, and merged with some amazing tunez from Bassnectar. I've learned the past year that the music choice makes these types of video's work or fail. And so many songs by Bassnectar just work with the style of time-lapse I enjoy.

An interesting note: the first 30 seconds of this video it was PITCH BLACK out about 6-6:20am. These were 30 second exposures using f/3.5 with my Canon 40D and I used a 10-22mm Canon wide angle lens for the entire shoot.

There are about 315 still photo's used in this mostly time-lapsed video taken on the morning of 2008-02-23 on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Unfortunately some of the absolute best pix I've ever taken weren't usable because I got major crap on the inside of my only zoom lens. :( I had to crop a fair amount and totally abandon use of some of the best. It still came out pretty decent.

I was really intrigued by the fluid dynamics of the fog below, as it rocked in and out of the valley, almost like the ocean pounding on a rocky coastline. As the morning went on it appeared as if the tide was going out. Very cool to see time-lapsed.
